After 41 days in the NICU Lily finally got to come home on September 18, 2006. She was sad to say goodbye to all of her nurses and doctors. She weighs 4 lbs 7oz.. Pictured below are some of her day nurses: Kristen, Lisa, Susan, and two of her doctors, Dr. Vu and Dr. Manlick. She barely fit into her car seat, but we made it home so she could go to sleep in her bassinet.

Wonderful!! Lily is the most remarkable baby and I'm so glad she's at home with her mommy and daddy and of course big sister Zoe.
It was fun watching Zoe meet her tiny baby sister for the first time in person today - sweet! Zoe was grinning from ear to ear, and it was a sight to behold! I know what Zoe was thinking, i.e., "Check it out, Honey."
After a little while, Zoe was very anxious to read Lily the snake book!
I am so glad that the Gandy family of 4 is home together tonight. What a heart-warming homecoming! Love, Nana
Lily, you are beautiful like Your Sister Zoe. How wonderful to have a Big Sister! You know you are very special to many people and you have a Very Special Admirer in Wisconsin ~~ Your Grandma Sandy's Best Friend since 1976. Your Daddy and My Son both share the name CHRISTOPHER, and now You and My Granddaughter both share the name LILY. You are sharing your name with a red-headed, brown- eyed Lily! Also -- My Son Carl came home from the hospital weighing 4 pounds 6 ounces ... born September 20, and my birthday is September 21. September is a wonderful month! I am very anxious to see you in October. Love, "Sandy"
